After studying the x6 in person, I think my favorite aspect is that the rear flares you welded on will rust to an almost perfect color match for the dark brown on the car, and will blend in nicely while still maintaining that rough, counter culture look with the exposed spot welds :) I hope you don't bother to clean it up, no bondo, and no paint needed !!
