My new car

by kenny on Monday, August 6, 2012

So i picked up a new car, its not really a NEW car but new for me. 1995 Right Hand drive Subaru Legacy Wagon. This vehicle isn't actually from Japan, its an ex-postal car from US. I got lucky and found this car located in Reno. Thought this would be the PERFECT tahoe/daily driver for me. Great on gas, cheap, all wheel drive, and these cars are known to last a long long time. here is a photo from today. So far i have painted the door moldings and slapped on the WRX wheels. pretty clean yea? 146K mileage. Being an ex-postal car, im guessing it didnt get much back seat action. old old and old new. hoping for it to look something like this: BUT LOWER of course.

I've always thought about getting one of these. I see postal Legacies up on Ebay every now and again.

Cool choice.

Good pick, Kenny! When you buy a new car, the very best you can do is to take good care of it. Proper maintenance can make your car last longer and perform better. One preventive tip is bringing your car over to the auto shop regularly for an oil change. The oil keeps the engine lubricated, making it run smoothly. However, in due time, it will lose its lubrication because of the heat and dirt mixed with the metal components.

Certainly not bad for a pre-owned vehicle. In fact, you car looks great. The previous owner did a pretty good job on the maintenance. The interior looks neat and tidy. And there’s no trace of dirt or tearing on the leather and the seats. Have you check the engine yet? If not, better take it to a mechanic for an overall inspection, so you will know if you need to do some repairs or replacements. Drive safely!

Personally, the 1995 Subaru Legacy Wagon stands out among its predecessors. The company officials prefer to call it "distinctive European lines" due to the car's relatively square shape. What I like most about this car is its interior that is so attractive; it’s also more spacious and efficient. Not to mention, its semi-bucket seats that allow easy entrance and exit.

You are right. A 1995 Subaru Legacy Wagon has a longer life span. You are lucky to spot this in Reno! What I love about this car is that the exterior design doesn’t look old at all. Plus, it offers some pretty useful features like the cruise control, the air dam, and a very cool air conditioning system. You just have to keep it new like this so that it can serve you for a long time.

Gorgeous looking car. I think the best feature about it is the excellent fuel economy.

Those were brilliant comment, Maria and Sebastian. If I can still remember, the 1995 Subaru Legacy Wagon was actually positioned by Subaru to bridge the gap between a station wagon and a sports-utility vehicle -- which was a success, in my own opinion.
