Just finished up the Bosozoku Celica tonight. I'm no expert at making these model cars and i have no idea what the hell im going to do with them; but its fucking fun making them.
New model car i bought from Japantown hobby store in SF. Been pretty interested in building model cars again. Last time i was into this was probably back in high school days.
kinda cool, came with these small SSR MK2's also.
Haven't really taken many photos of the status of my car lately.
So far the work I've done to it AFTER de-arching and adding extra leafs to my leaf spring suspension.
I have C-notched the frame much thanks to my buddy Todd for the assistance. Cut some holes in the rear section of the car, also thanks to C's garage for the tips as seen on their blog.
I'm currently in Florida for Formula D. Weather is pretty crazy here. It'll be hot and rain will just start pouring out of nowhere.
Took some snaps while Nakai was still in town but finally got the time to upload them.
Finally came around to picking up the wheels i've always wanted. SSR MK2 14x8.5 -7
14 inch was the main thing i was going for so i can properly lower the car more with the tire sizes available for 14" wheels. I went with a 185/55/14 S-drives up front and some federals in the rear.
quick shot from last night.
Currently the axle is hitting the frame so it will need a notch next week.
I posted this up on HELLAFLUSH also but thought id document it here as well. My buddy Sunny's slammed 240z.
